We’re a student-led charity. We aim to provide safety, friendship, and support to Ukrainians seeking refuge from the war.
Founded by William Buehler, a student at Phillips Academy in Andover, Massachusetts, Students United for Ukraine was established as a charity in May 2023.
William and his father visited Poland earlier this year to meet some of the organisations working to support those who have been displaced by the war.
The Buehler family has sponsored a Ukrainian family, who are now settling into their new home in the USA.

We have made contact and met with organizations helping Ukrainians, both here in the USA as well as in Poland. We will distribute funds to displaced families, sponsors, and others who need them.
If you have a second home, spare bedroom, or means to cover the private rent of a family, you can sponsor their entry to the US. We’ve done it ourselves – here we tell you how you can do the same.
